About me

I have a wealth of experience in all aspects of Women’s Health. Qualifying as a GP back in 2008, I have subsequent extra qualifications in contraception (Fellow of Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health Care), IUS (coil) and contraceptive implant fitting and I am a BMS Menopause Specialist. I take an empathetic approach so women have time to talk through all of their current concerns, to plan a happy and healthy future.

About CAM

I set up CAM to give women the necessary time and space to fully explain their health concerns. I provide a friendly, relaxed and dedicated place so women really feel heard and with my expertise, we can formulate a personalised plan moving forward. I can provide help with all contraceptive methods and menopause transition including a full range of HRT and testosterone replacement to help women now and in the future.

My Services

Initial menopause consultation – full assessment of current concerns, medical history, lifestyle, BMI and BP measurement. Formulation of personalised treatment plan, summary clinic letter and private prescription. Maximum of 3 follow up emails following consultation for treatment tweaks. £250, 45 mins

Follow up menopause consultation – review of personalised treatment plan, including any changes in medical history or lifestyle. BP. Summary letter and private prescription. £150, 25 mins.

Women are generally followed up 3m after starting medication and then again annually if stable, although of course extra reviews can be booked.

Testosterone only follow up consultation – review of current testosterone treatment and testosterone blood test result. £100, 15 mins.

Usually required 3m after starting testosterone and then annually.

Mirena coil insertion consultation – full assessment of bleeding profile, medical history, contraceptive need, discussion of Mirena and insertion of device. £230, 45 mins.

Please note there are additional charges billed by Cambridge Spire Hospital for actual device (approx. £133.76) and services (approx £152.50).

Contraceptive Implant insertion consultation – full assessment of bleeding profile, medical history, contraceptive need, discussion of implant and insertion of device. £100, 45 mins.

Please note there are additional charges billed by Cambridge Spire Hospital for actual device (approx. £126.81) and services (approx. £90).

Contraceptive implant removal consultation – full assessment as above, with removal of device. £100, 45 mins.

Contraceptive implant device removal and reinsertion consultation – full assessment as above with removal of old device and insertion of new device. 45 mins £180.

Repeat prescriptions – Can be obtained via email, only after 3m follow up review has been completed. 3m treatment will be provided. A follow up consultation is required annually. £25.

Blood tests can be provided at Cambridge Spire Hospital after any consultation. All costs to Cambridge Spire.
